Mother-Daughter Date

Things have been busy trying to get things ready to go to Utah.

We miss Leila around here.

The house is like a puzzle with one piece missing.

Eden daily says how much she misses having Leila to play with.

But I did get to take Eden on a mini mommy-daughter date today.

We found out the YMCA has a rock climbing wall for anyone over 5 to use.

So, I took the other girls to the child care area.

Then me and Eden went rock climbing.

It was Eden's first time.

I'm no pro either.

She did a great job.

She never made it all the way to the top, but got pretty close.

She went up three times then the fourth time her muscles gave out.

But she loved it and I had fun climbing as well.

Now back to real life again.

Mother's Day

Baby Eden.

Baby Leila.

Baby Molly.

Baby Paige.

It's been a great Mother's Day.

More importantly, a great nine years of being a mother.

It's fun to remember all my girls as they've grown.

Today's was a great day.

Eden gave me a card telling me how awesome I am and why.....but to not tell the other mothers so they don't get jealous.

Molly brought me breakfast in bed.

Paige gave me hugs and kisses.

...and Leila's not around. She's busy having fun with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Utah. She decided to head out early with them and is having a blast. But she did get me a call to tell me happy Mother's Day and all the fun she's had out there.

Tyson takes the cake....doing the dishes (several times), making me breakfast and dinner, letting me sleep in, and bringing back a little bit of Puerto Rico by setting up out hammock from Puerto Rico and serving virgin mojitos like we drank there.

Not to mention my mom, who is amazing and came out with watch the girls with my dad for the nine days we were in Puerto Rico. The girls had a blast with them.
