You can tell when my girls forget how to play together. Lots of arguing.
It also happens when there is a lot of friend (or cousin) time and they don't need each other to play.
Not that cousin time is bad.
It's not.
But they just seem to forget how to play with each other and argue more.
Today, arguing began.
I banned television.
*groan moan*
So, we had some family time.
We fed some ducks.
Ok, not really...
The ducks didn't want to come close to us and would only eat the bread that we could toss to the other side of the canal...which was hardly any. So, we fed the pigeons instead.
Once again, they were happy (for at least a few minutes).
We went to Sam's Club.
Back home.
They begged to watch Kung Fu Panda 2 since Eden told them how awesome it was from the night before.
I told them it depended on how they did today.
They all worked together picking pumpkins from grandma's garden to sell.
The Greens and Watsons joined in.
They picked and sold quite a few pumpkins.
And they all worked together.
So, the kids get a late night to watch King Fu Panda 2.
But I may limit television time....
At least I'll try with all this cleaning, packing and preping for Japan...
Which limiting will be just as hard for me as for them.
(I mean, it's much easier to turn on a movie than deal with arguing and big messes from their "creative play". But it will be good.)
It may or may not work.
It may need to wait until after Japan.
