It came with a cost. I'm pretty sure the primary president hates me.
They were planning on me being here the entire summer and going to let me be the Lone Ranger as a nursery leader AND Cub Scout leader. They were hoping to wait for all the new people who were moving in to give them callings.
Then I changed my mind and left early...forcing them to find new replacements ASAP.
And today I sighed a sigh of relief as we got as new nursery leader who will definitely do a good job and I handed off my scout stuff to the new leaders with a "I'm sorry, good luck." I did try to make it as easy as possible (since they have no clue what cub scouts is about) and I just gave them a schedule of all the activities they should do while I'm gone.
At home, I got to work finishing packing and making some freezer meals for Tyson while I'm away.
Tyson packed up the car, cleaned up, and helped watch kids.
I'm finally ready to relax...and sleep.
